While Christina’s videos are hilarious (especially if you have ever listened to her serious classes - what a contrast!) her message is solid. Nowadays there is NO reason to delay your Internet presence because you need a webmaster or designer. You can get dozens of free themes (and for less than $100 you can get a premium, gilt-edged deluxe theme). Webmasters from craigslist and Rent-a-Coder charge $100 or less to cusomize your blog, but most people don’t need it.
When you think of spending thousands of dollars for designers, and leaving even more money on the table because you don’t have a website yet, it makes sense to take a good look at Wordpress websites. I have clients who waited years for their websites (I am not joking) after I wrote the copy. And with the money you save, you can take a copywriting course or hire a copywriter. Now you’re seeing dollar signs, right?
