Most independent professionals have considered using teleseminars to promote themselves. The reason is you can share your ideas and demonstrate your expertise, without sounding the least bit sales-y.

But are you wasting your teleseminar? If you just create one call (and maybe offer the replay to whoever signed up), you’ll get just one audience. You can expand the reach of your teleseminar when you use one teleseminar as your Showcase Seminar. Here’s how:

(1) Choose a topic that reaches your clients’ pain in a unique, targeted way. Offer the mp3 file as a bonus for your opt-in list or place it on your services page.

(2) Get a coach or colleague to interview you. You won’t be bragging when you answer questions like, “What was your biggest success?” Or, “Give us an example of how your process worked.”

(3) Tell stories to explain your expertise. Illustrate as many points as possible with stories like, “For example, when my client Mary asked…”

Towards the end of your call, your interviewer should ask you, “And if we need more information, how a we reach you?” Now you can give your contact info and a hint of your services - without sounding the least bit sales-y.
